Hi, I’m Dr. Darlene Henry. With over 40 years of gentle, compassionate care in Erlanger, KY, my team and I love welcoming new patients into our dental family. Our goal is simple: Make your first visit so comfortable and positive that you can’t wait to come back. Whether you’re here for a routine checkup, restorative work, or just to get acquainted, we’ll take great care of you from the moment you walk in. What to Expect on Your First Visit
Your initial appointment is all about getting to know you and your oral health:
- We’ll review your medical/dental history and discuss any goals or worries.
- I’ll perform a gentle, comprehensive exam: checking for decay, gum health, bite alignment, TMJ issues, and a full oral cancer screening.
- Digital X-rays (low-radiation and quick) and intraoral camera photos help us see everything clearly—and I’ll show you so you understand exactly what’s going on.
- We’ll chat about findings, answer all your questions, and outline any recommended next steps (always starting with the most conservative options).
Most first visits take about an hour, and we always leave time for you to feel heard and at ease.

If you can’t print or prefer us to send them, just call—we’re happy to email, mail, or have them ready at the office. Bring your completed forms, insurance card (if applicable), photo ID, and a list of current medications.
Insurance and Payments
We keep billing simple and honest:
- My practice is out-of-network with all insurance plans (we don’t accept their set fee schedules), but we file claims for you as a courtesy so you get any reimbursements your plan allows. Bring your insurance card; we’ll verify coverage and explain your estimated portion.
- Preferred payments: Cash, personal checks, or major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover)—easy and no surprises!
If you have questions about costs, benefits, or financing options, ask away—I’m happy to discuss upfront so there are no surprises.
